### Ticketmaster Brazil: a third-party data-analytics tool exposed 2025 ticket buyers' names, CPF numbers, contacts and last four card digits

Starting Oct 14, Ticketmaster Brazil emailed customers who bought tickets in 2025 about a security incident at a third-party data-analytics tool. The investigation, done with outside specialists, finished in September 2026. Depending on what was entered at purchase, the exposed data may include full name, gender, age range or birth date, CPF or other ID number, phone, email, neighborhood, city and state, payment method and the last four digits of the card. The company told Canaltech and Olhar Digital it notified Brazil's data-protection authority (ANPD). It says full card numbers, bank details and account credentials weren't involved and that its ticketing and account systems weren't affected. It hasn't said how many people are affected or named the vendor. Expect refund and 'confirm your data' scams that quote real purchase details.
