### Deno team joins Cloudflare; Deno runtime gets one more year of security updates, Deno Deploy shuts down in six months

Ryan Dahl announced on Oct 9 that the whole Deno team is joining Cloudflare. Deno will get monthly bug-fix and security releases for a year, after which the team ends runtime development (it stays open source). Deno Deploy runs six more months, with migration help to Cloudflare Workers for paying customers; JSR keeps running on Cloudflare infrastructure. Security teams should flag Deno-based services for a support-end plan.
