Cognition, maker of the Devin coding agent, acquires AI-security startup Corridor; co-founders Jack Cable and Ashwin Ramaswami join to work on Devin Security
Corridor, founded almost two years ago to secure AI-driven software development, says it is joining Cognition to take "Devin Security" further, working with Cognition CSO Alex Stamos. The founders write that "AI agents can now execute end-to-end attack chains" and that "the next 6-12 months represent the most consequential period in the history of cybersecurity" (their opinion). No price was announced.
Context: it follows Cognition's Devin Security Swarm launch and a wave of AI-coding vendors building in vulnerability finding and fixing. For buyers, the practical question is whether security checks run on code the agent writes before it is merged, not only after.
